James H. Wong, OD

​Dr. Wong is a long and established community leader whose practice offers leading edge eye services. Dr. Wong received his Bachelor degrees in Biophysics and Optometry with honors as well as his Doctorate in Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. He emphasizes a preventative care philosophy that is evident in his educational approach to patient care.  

Dr. Wong offers a personal, comprehensive, and educational approach to patient care that transcends the current trend of minimalist health care. He is certified in peri-operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries, as well as therapeutic management of ocular disease.  He is a past President and a past Director of the San Francisco Optometric Society, and an active member of the California Optometric and American Optometric Associations. He has a clinical affiliation with the Permanente Medical Group and is consistently in the forefront of eye care technology.

​As a founding member of our staff, Dr. Wong brings over 40 years of clinical experience to your care.  His active interests include fitness, bicycling and raising his three children.

Jamie M. Totsubo, OD

Dr. Totsubo is licensed to diagnose and treat glaucoma as well as prescribe drugs to treat ocular disease.  She is also a member of the State Department of Rehabilitation Medical Panel, member of the AOA Low Vision Section,  a course certified LASIK evaluator and co-manager. She received her BS in Biochemistry from UCLA and her Doctorate of Optometry from UC Berkeley. 

​​She currently lives with her husband and two children and doggie (Hoku) in Piedmont where she serves on the Park Commission and designs a line of dog apparel.

In addition, He selects from an extensive selection of the best progressive lens and frame lines available.
